A tribute to the 858,000 acre Chequamegon (sho-WAH-ma-gon)-Nicolet National Forest that surrounds the lodge, this room features a cherry wrought iron Queen bed topped by a stunning woven rug motif duvet. The name Chequamegon is derived from an Ojibway word meaning “place of shallow water,” and refers to Lake Superior’s Chequamegon Bay 45 miles to our north. Includes private bath with tub and shower.
