This spacious room with large south-facing windows pays homage to the more than three million young men who, as members of the Depression era Civilian Conservation Corps, helped renew the nation’s decimated forests by planting an estimated three billion trees, building fire lanes, and constructing recreational facilities across the nation from 1933 to 1942. But the distinctive Queen bed of distressed rustic oak is undoubtedly a lot more stylish than the bunks assigned to members of CCC Company 1676 at Camp Cable, once located just a few miles east of the lodge. Includes sofa and private bath with shower. A/C.
